ADA Accessibility Efforts
Ellicott City Smiles Dental Group is actively working to improve digital accessibility across our website in response to WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines and ADA-related best practices for public-facing businesses.
Recent Improvements
- Skip navigation link for keyboard and screen-reader users
- Improved form labels on the appointment request form
- Accessible names for maps, social links, and mobile navigation controls
- Descriptive alternative text for interior and gallery images
- Correct telephone links (replacing a relative path that looked like a phone-number URL)
- Footer links to this ADA efforts page and our Accessibility Statement
- A dedicated 404 page instead of an empty “coming soon” message
Ongoing Work
We continue to review interior pages, downloadable documents, and third-party embeds. Remaining items are tracked and remediated on a rolling basis.
